Families that select Wells Funeral Homes have come to expect more. Wells Events & Reception Center is located immediately adjacent to Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville where they are joined by a porte-cochere for your convenience. In addition to our main chapel and visitation rooms in the funeral home, the event center offers an alternate space for smaller gatherings.

Food has always been an important part of every family event, whether weddings, anniversaries or funerals. Most often with months to plan a wedding or anniversary celebration, funerals have less time available for planning. It can be difficult to find a restaurant or convenient location that can accommodate a group on relatively short notice. By having a reception adjacent to the funeral home, the guests are conveniently able to participate in the reception without having to drive to another location or attend to the details of preparing for guests and food at their own home or church.

At Wells Events & Reception Center, families can select from menus from several of the area’s leading restaurants and caterers or may select to bring in their own food from an outside source. The choices are everything from hors d’oeuvres, desserts & coffee, to full service meals.

Our staff and events coordinator handles every detail so you have less to worry about during a difficult time.
